MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia is leaving the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) with headquarters in Madrid, Spain's newswire Efe reported on Wednesday.
"Russia has announced the discontinuation of participation in the UNWTO," Efe reported.
The executive council of the organization earlier met to consider the suspension of Russia's membership on an initiative of Guatemala, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia and Ukraine.
